Scott Wheat and Will Eunice join the firm as Associates.

We are pleased to announce that Scott Wheat and Will Eunice have joined the firm in its Baton Rouge office.

Scott obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama in 2016.  Prior to law school, he worked in the private sector on genetic sequencing patent applications. Scott obtained his Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 2023, graduating Cum Laude.  He was one of twelve graduates selected for The Order of the Barristers, a national honorary organization whose purpose is the encouragement of oral advocacy and brief writing skills through effective law school oral advocacy programs. While at LSU Law, he competed on the Tom Fore Phillips National Moot Court Team, on which he was a Regional Finalist, and on the John C. Costello Criminal Law Trial Advocacy Competition, on which he was a National Quarterfinalist.  As a second-year law student, Scott won the 2022 Dean’s Cup Moot Court Competition. He also received the CALI Award (for the highest grade in his class) in Constitutional Law II, Evidence, and Legal History, Race Relations, and Constitution Seminar. Scott took the Louisiana Bar Exam in July 2023 and is awaiting his results.

Will obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, with a concentration in Journalism, at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 2018.  He obtained his Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 2023.  He also graduated from LSU Law with a Graduate Certificate in Energy Law and Policy. Prior to law school, he worked in media broadcasting and sports statistics. While at LSU Law, Will earned the CALI Award (for the highest grade in his class) in Louisiana Civil Procedure I. He took the Louisiana Bar Exam in July 2023 and is awaiting his results.
