Jennifer Wells has joined the firm

We are pleased to announce Jennifer Wells has joined the firm, working through our Lafayette office. Jen obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, NC in 1995, and in 1999 earned her Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Baton Rouge, LA. Jen has represented regional service and transportation companies on innumerable tort and contract matters, has counseled clients on commercial agreements, premises liability, professional negligence and contractual indemnity concerns, has defended Fortune 500 truck manufacturers against product liability claims, represented a vessel owner in a complex eight-year litigation battle up until securing a favorable settlement, and has handled a myriad of civil defense disputes from inception through successful resolution via trial and/or compromise. Jen has also represented insurance companies and individual insureds on a variety of coverage matters, involving both primary and excess policies, and with respect to many lines of insurance, including general liability, auto liability, umbrella, Hull & Machinery, Protection & Indemnity, and marine general liability. Jen is licensed to practice in all Louisiana courts.
