Emily Fruge and Reagan Moody were sworn in on Monday, October 17th, 2022 to the Louisiana Bar.

Emily Fruge, who joined the Baton Rouge office, and Reagan Moody, who joined our Alexandria office, were sworn in on Monday, October 17th, 2022 to the Louisiana Bar. 

Emily obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology from Louisiana State University in 2019, magna cum laude. Emily went on to obtain a Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from Louisiana State University in 2022, graduating with cum laude honors. While at LSU, Emily served on the Journal of Energy Law and Resources as a Junior Associate and was subsequently chosen for a board position as the Online Articles Editor. She received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Sports Law and Sales and Real Estate Transactions. Emily was also a Dean's Scholar. 

Reagan obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Policy Leadership and Spanish from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS, in 2019, where she was a graduate of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College, and a Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA, in 2022. While at LSU, Reagan as the Editor-in-Chief of the LSU Journal of Energy Law and Resources, was a member of the Energy Law Negotiation Competition Team, and served in the Student Bar Association. Reagan's Comment, "The Climate is Changing, So Should We: An Analysis of Legal Inadequacies, Admist the Rise of Climate Migration," is scheduled for publication in the tenth volume of the LSU Journal of Energy Law and Resources. Additionally, Reagan was a student clinician at the Law Center's Immigration Clinic and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for the work in the Immigration Clinic Course.
